Futian Mangrove Ecological Park

Futian Mangrove Ecological Park is the only National Nature Reserve that’s located in the center of Futian CBD. It is one of the most valuable wetlands in China which has important ecological value. The park is valued for its resourceful flora and fauna and contains 16 species in plants and 194 species in birds. 23 species are endangered species. Futian Mangrove Ecological Park integrates science knowledge, seashore culture, natural landscape , leisure tours and other functions into one. It is definitely a best resting place for urbanites as the transportation is convenient and easy to find.

福田区红树林湿地是全国唯一地处市中心的国家级自然保护区，具有重要的生态价值，也是全国重要湿地之一。保护区内动植物资源丰富，有红树植物9科16种，鸟类194种，其中23种为珍稀濒危物种。 福田红树林生态公园位于广深高速公路以南、福田红树林国家级自然保护区以东、新洲河以西、深圳湾以北区域，用地面积约38万平方米，相当于38个足球场的面积。建成后的福田红树林生态公园建设集科普教育、海滨文化、自然景观、休闲游览等功能为一体。 公园用地北侧临近上下沙、金地、益田等多个生活区及福田保税区，开园后不仅将切实解决其500米半径腹地范围内7万人的日常休闲需求，还将增加深圳湾红树林湿地面积，为鸟类提供更加优质的栖息环境。
