1881, located on the ground floor of the hotel, 1881 set in a stylish yet casual setting, serves Northern Chinese and Sichuan specialities including Beijing duck and shrimp in “Kong Bao” style. This restaurant provides a “dining in the kitchen” atmosphere that is complemented by a textural interior with artful lighting fixtures. Highlights:
Wood-fired Beijing Duck – The Peking duck is roasted with wood from the jujube tree in a specially designed hanging clay furnace. This combination gives the duck a crispy skin and fills the plump juicy meat with a fruity yet smoky fragrance.

Chicken “Beggar Style” – Beggar’s chicken is a dish of chicken marinated and stuffed with more than ten ingredients. The chicken is wrapped in lotus leaves and roasted for three hours in a clay shell.
